Japanese Iris

The Japanese Iris is my wife Jane's favorite flower. I did this painting in December of 1994, another artistic Christmas gift for my lovely bride. I had photographed them when they were in season. Now we always have Irises blooming in our house.

The painting is 8 x 16 inches, watercolor on Arches cold press watercolor paper.
